    Journalist Zeyaul Haque is no more

    India’s top journalist Zeyaul Haque and former editor of Nation and the World, died in Holy Family hospital due to cardiac arrest at 7:30 pm on Thursday.

    “Papa was admitted to Holy Family Hospital yesterday after his oxygen was 40-50. But now he is stable.  He was tested Covid positive. Mummy is still in hospital for the last 13 days,” said Rizwana Vaqas a few hours ago.

    A few minutes ago she posted about the death of her father-in-law.

    Other family members, including his daughter-in-law, son Mohammad Waqas and wife, had tested Covid positive. Of them daughter-in-law and son Waqas, who is editor at India Today, recovered, but Zeyaul Haque, who for days was well, complained of breathlessness on Thursday and was rushed to Holy Family Hospital for treatment.

    Currently, he was associated with IOS as media consultant.

    He worked with leading national and international publications.

    He has left behind two sons, daughter and wife.
