    It was only two days ago, when Ashraf wrote this on his timeline: “Urgently need an ICU bed for my father in Patna. My mother is still struggling to live with her oxygen without support being at 85-88, it’s now my father whose oxygen saturation level has started to dip to 88-90.”

    And then after two days, he broke the news of his father death.

    The post solicited several comments with the message going virtually viral, a netizen wrote: “So heartbreaking Asad Ashraf.”

    Another netizen wrote Shah Kamal wrote: “Such a sad day got to know 2 deaths of my close friends’ fathers in a day. I cannot forget Asad Ashraf’s father. He was so humble and nice person. I know how painful is to lose father I have experienced it but it’s very tough for anyone to lose loved ones at this time.”

    The OT reached Ashraf for writing obituary of his father but his phone was switched off.

    Later in the day, Ashraf, who has worked with several publications, updated his profile with this message and his father’s photo: “Can’t stop thinking of you Dady!”
