In the video which surfaced a few minutes ago on Tuesday, students can be seen alleging that since the university has opened months ago, students have been facing water crisis as taps have run dry in many places.

A student on condition of anonymity said the protest is being held at Faculty of Humanity and Languages over water issue. There are other places also on the campus where there is water issue, said the student. In the video most probably university official is seen trying to convince the students that the issue will be resolved soon. Unconvinced, the students continued their sit-in, pressurising the administration to get the water woes address as soon as possible.
