Plumes of smoke rising from Shaheen Bagh fire were seen from Film City Noida. After the fire broke out in the open space behind Shaheen Bagh graveyard in the afternoon on Tuesday, a resident most probably or a journalist saw it from his office in Film City Noida and made a video and asked this question: Is fire in near Shaheen Bagh?

According to residents staying around the open field with wild grasses growing and garbage being dumped, the fire is not something new. Earlier, too, a resident said the fire had started but was brought under control. No causality was reported till the filing of this report as it is open ground.

The reason behind the fire is not known but residents said from time to time there are garbage dumping places where fire breaks out or somebody put garbage on fire for purpose causing no damage save plumes of smoke.

“If you are residing in some other area then the rising plumes of smoke can be seen giving an impression of a massive fire. But for residents staying around the area this is a normal thing, said one resident on the condition of anonymity.

The fire died out after some minutes with fire brigade too turning up at the location, said residents.
