Watch: Sewage water floods Abul Fazal Enclave road

Commuters and residents are having hard times for the last two days as sewage water is flooding a long stretch in Abul Fazal Enclave. E-rickshaw drivers said the situation has gone worse today as the whole road has been flooded with dirty sewage water leading to breakdown of e-rickshaws.

A resident said the sewage water is overflowing from the open nallah in Abul Fazal Enclave-Hari Kothi road. Several residents expressed their anguish over overflowing of sewer water on the busy road. A resident said: “The situation is pathetic. Just see how e-rickshaws and bikers are getting stuck. An e-rickshaw even turned turtle with one lady getting injured,” said a resident.

AFE RWA representative said: “Several complaints have been filed from our side to get the issue addressed with little success till now.” However, he said it is expected that MCD workers will come on Wednesday to clean the nallah.
