In Muslim-dominated Jamia Nagar one business that clicks is of food. It is common to see new eatery being opened in the locality with some lanes turning into foodies hub.

However, there are only a few who start book business that too selling English books. A walk through the locality  shows that there are very few books shops as for many the business doesn’t bring money. That is why Mansoor Old Book Depot at Okhla Head stands in the crowd as it is the only shop on this lane with 25 thousand books collection that too in English.

Md Sabir came to Delhi when he was a teen and since then plunged himself into book business.

After coming from Uttar Pradesh, he said he stayed with his relatives in Lajpat Nagar to shift later on to Okhla.

In 90 he came to Okhla and for years resided in Zakir Nagar. He has four children.
