Sahil told the OT on Tuesday that in the event he presented Dastan-e-Shoaib Akhtar telling details and anecdotes from Shoaib’s life in form of a story.

The event was held during the 41 st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) on November13, 2022.

The ace ex-pacer spoke about his love for written word, importance of books, poetry, music and other finer aspects of his personality. Bazm-e-Urdu was a successful event. Bazm-e-Urdu’s Mehfil-e-Urdu had a book launch ceremony where “Saat Rang Saat Sur” was unveiled.

“It’s been a blessing to come together in Sharjah, a city famed for its cultural activities, to organise an event to promote our heritage. I thank the Sharjah Book Authority and the Philippines Embassy for this opportunity to come together at SIBF, the largest book fair in the world today,” said Dante Delizo, Chairman of the Kabayan Volunteers Group.
