Owner of Okhla’s top eatery has announced Rs 10,000 reward after his Persian breed triple coated cat went missing from Zakir Nagar house on Thursday. The cat was last seen in Zakir Nagr gali number 1 during Maghrib prayer time, said Shahbaz, whose family owns the area’s most popular Javed Nihari shop in Zakir Nagar.

Jacky, white colour male Persian breed cat with black spot on nose, is three years old.

It is a triple coated cat in fur quality and I had bought it for Rs 15 thousand when it was a baby from a cat shop in Okhla, he said. Since the cat went missing, Shahbaz said he has tried all things to find the family’s first cat. Till now, he said, he has distributed 1,200 pamphlets and got 1,200 posters printed to be put around in the locality informing residents about the missing cat.

“We have four Persian cats but as Jacky is the first one we all are missing it. We request residents to share information on these numbers if they found the cat: 9971883358, 9540208882, 9818538856,” he said, urging the OT to share the post in reaching more residents in finding the cat.

Cat has emerged as most popular pet among Okhla residents.
