Silt cleared from Abul Fazal Enclave nallah, but dumped on roadside for weeks

Silt cleared from Abul Fazal Enclave nallah weeks ago has been left on the roadside causing hardship to residents. It was weeks ago when the AFE nallah was cleaned and residents welcomed it but what caused hardship to them is that it has been left on the road, said a local.

If you walk on the AFE road then you can see for yourself how silt has been left on the roadside, said a local resident, adding that this is the norm in the locality which is a neglected one.

At times the silt is left for weeks that it evaporates or wash away during rain and hence the whole purpose of cleaning the nallah is defeated, said a resident. Also, a good portion of the road is covered and blocked causing traffic snarl in the locality, said another resident on the condition of anonymity, requesting for immediate attention to clean the mess.

It looks that this area in Delhi is a neglected one with nobody caring to take care of it, said a resident.
