    Another road mishap at garbage dump, e-rickshaw hits biker on Hari Kothi-AFE road

    Another road mishap at garbage dump, e-rickshaw hits biker on Hari Kothi-AFE road

    Another road mishap was reported from Abul Fazal Enclave road near the roadside garbage dump on Monday night. With one side of the road not in use due to garbage strewn all over commuters are using only one road for plying vehicles and it was during this time when an e-rickshaw hit a biker.

    After the accident the biker was in pain and was sitting on the divider. Other residents rushed to the spot to provide him help. Whether the injury was serious couldn’t be known but the youth was unable to stand up and walk. Passersby suggested other biker, a friend, to take him to Al-Shifa emergency to make sure that all was well with him.

    The spot in front of roadside garbage dump nearby Milli Model Girls’ School and Al-Shifa Hospital has become notorious for road mishap due to garbage strewn on the road with many bikes even skidding leading to injuries.

    The Monday night development has come in the background of another accident which took place on Abul Fazal Enclave-Kalindi Kunj road in the morning. Two people, including a school-going boy, were hurt when the bike they were travelling on was hit by a speeding car, said residents, adding that the bike which was standing behind a stationary bus went was left mangled with both residents sustaining injuries. They were rushed to hospital. No update about their current health is known to the OT.
