“The incident has been grabbed in the CCTV where two youngsters are seen getting into the parking of the building and within minute they fled away with the vehicle. They most probably had the master key,” said Mehtab Alam, an academic counsellor, who has been residing in the area for the last nine years.

He said he has filed a complaint and looking forward to get the vehicle back. Alam said his bike was his lifeline and after it got stolen he is facing hardship.

“What is shocking is the daredevil by the two youths who came on the bike without covering their faces and took away the bike. Such criminals should be arrested,” he said.

Such incidents do take place from time to time in the locality, said residents. They said a few months ago a resident’s new expensive bicycle was stolen from his parking lot. The resident said he had not expected that it would happen so fast.
