    Cloth godown catches fire in Okhla Phase 2, fire tenders douse blaze

    A massive fire broke out in the wee hours of Friday at a cloth godown in Okhla Phase 2, tweeted IANS. As many as 18 fire tenders are currently trying to douse the blaze and no casualty reported so far, said Director-Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg to IANS, reported the agency early in the day.

    Garg confirmed that so far there have been no casualties or injuries.

    According to media report fire official received call about the fire around 03.51 am in a factory at 118 Sanjay Colony near Harkesh Nagar Okhla phase 2, after which as many as 18 fire tenders were immediately pressed into the service.

    “The three-storey building is around 1200 square yards with a basement,” he said.

    The fire department is not certain of the cause of the fire as they were still trying to completely control the fire, reported republicworld.com.
