Nusrat Ali, chairman, Markazi Taaleemi Council, JIH is no more, wrote senior journalist AU Asif.

“He breathed his last of at Al-Shifa wherein he was admitted for over a fortnight. Hailing from Merut, he was an ideologue, scholar and eminent leader of JIH. Earlier he served as UP State Jamaat chief and in other capacities. He was also a member of Jamaat’s Central advisory and consultative bodies.

“Besides a member of AIMPLB’s working committee, his role as an expert on education affairs would always be cherished. His passing away is a great blow to the Islamic movement,” wrote AU Asif.
