A citizen journalist said the car hit the divider and fell on a bike on the left side of the road just a few minutes ago. But all three people were lucky as they got away with minor injuries. Residents rushed to help them.

The incident took place in front of a food outlet, Laziz Pizza, at thokar number 5 on AFE, said residents.

Another resident said the biker got hurt as the car had fallen on it, but he was lucky as he didn’t sustain serious injuries. The citizen journalist said on the condition of anonymity that all three people were fine and later on left. The car was damaged badly, said another resident.

The actual reason for the accident is not known but residents on the spot said it could be due to the dark spot that the person driving the car might have struggle to see it and hit the divider. On the AFE-Kalindi Kunj stretch, according to residents, there are many dark spots and streetlight is a must to avoid such incidents. Besides, residents for years have been demanding putting marker on the divider as driving on this road becomes difficult in winter when there is fog.
