MCD election result 2022 live: Who is leading from Shaheen Bagh, Zakir Nagar
The counting of votes for election to the 250-ward Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) after reunification started on Wednesday morning with trend coming at 9 am. At the Delhi level it is BJP vs AAP and they are neck to neck.
In Okhla at the end of round six, sitting AAP Councillor Wajid Khan is trailing by 139 votes with Congress Areeba Khan leading. From Zakir Nagar, sitting Congress Councillor Shoaib Danish wife is leading by AAP’s Salma Khan by a small margin of 237 votes.
The is just trend as counting continues and the results are expected to change. But the fight in both the wards appear to be between Congress and AAP with other parties not in the race.
