He told the OT over phone that in the evening on his way to meet a distressed family he saw a woman coming from the right side and as he was about to take left turn the passerby started walking on the left and in a bid to save her he had no option but to hit the wall of the road.

Following which his leg banged with the wall and the lawyer received injuries on his left food, he said, adding that he was lucky that nothing major happened to him.

He said he rushed to a dispensary where after the plaster the doctor has advised him to take rest. Till the filing of the report, Khan said he is fine and would be walking soon after his wounds heal up.

Khan’s wife Aarfa Khanum is a well-known activist and lawyer. She runs an NGO to empower women in the locality. On the Women’s International Day, her organisation held an event at Kalindi Kunj where several women achievers were felicitated.
