    Overflowing sewage water remains a perennial problem at Khalilluah Mosque and it needs urgent attention so that namazis’ hardship ends, according to residents. A resident told the OT that the problem has been there for the last more than a month leading to problem for not only residents residing in the lane but to namazis also.

    He said from time to time it is cleaned but somebody has to fix the problem by finding out the main cause leading to blocking of the sewer. When it rain, the condition gets worse, said a resident. Besides, namazis have been facing hardship as the water is dirty and most of the time it spoils their clothes, said one resident.

    With dengue cases on the rise in Delhi, there are also fear that the overflowing sewage water will only lead to mosquito breeding and hence it is important that the local authorities address the issue on priority basis, said a resident, who regular to the mosque.

    Residents have been lamenting that there are several places in Jamia Nagar where overflowing sewage water is a big issue and they need to be addressed.
