Jamiaiites erupt in joy after words spread on the social media that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, (NAAC) an autonomous body that accredits higher education institutions after assessing their performance based on framed parameters, has given NAC A++ to Jamia Millia Islamia, meaning very good.

A university source confirming this development said that previous time Jamia had succeeded in getting A grade and A++ is a big achievement for the only Central university with minority character in India which turned more than 101 this year.

This is the highest grade given by the coveted NAAC to an institution based on various parameters, including research, infrastructure, learning resources, evaluation, innovation & governance by following a stringent assessment method.

The ranking comes after a NAAC peer team review was conducted between 6th and 8th December, 2021.
