    Watch: 7 girls, Kaif scoop Jamia Award of Excellence on I-Day 2021

    Eight young researchers of university bagged Jamia Award of Excellence on the Independence Day 2021 today.

    These young researchers are recipients of the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) in the last two years. Out of 8 recipients 7 are girls which speaks of the significant role the university has played in empowering girl students.

    Jamia Vice Chancellor Najma Akhtar also felicitated Kaif Ali, a 4th year student of the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), who was awarded with the prestigious ‘The Diana Award 2021’ for his Covid – 19 innovation— ‘Covid-19 Innovation Space Era’.

    He has also received the prestigious E&Y fellowship for the same.

    “I dream to build a better working world by performing towards climate action and youth leadership through innovations. I dream to lead as a sustainability professional. I dream to make this world a better place. I dream!” said Kaif.

    Earlier Kaif was awarded with the prestigious The Diana Award 2021 for his exceptional contribution in changing the world with his Covid – 19 innovation— ‘Covid-19 Innovation Space Era’.

    Earlier, Kaif was rewarded with 1 lakh rupees and an opportunity to earn industry-recognised digital credentials on future-focused skills as well as a two- month internship with Ernst & Young (EY) in a service line of his choice.

    The EY Scholarship programme recognises and rewards students with entrepreneurial spirit through a business case competition.
