Illegal parking of vehicles on roads, mushrooming workshops a growing concern for Okhla residents

Illegal parking of vehicles on roads in Jamia Nagar and mushrooming workshops in Abul Fazal Enclave are a growing concern for Okhla residents who want the menace to be nipped in the bud.

Many residents lamented that due to illegal parking and mushrooming workshops they face hardship and are compelled to spend hours in traffic jam daily.

A netizen wrote: “Could the OT take initiative to end roadside illegal parking.”

Another resident said with population increase and no parking facilities in expensive flats many vehicle users park their cars on roadsides unaware of the fact that their action is choking the locality, creating traffic snarls throughout the day.

Moreover, residents are also upset with bikers who to reach home or destination early
