    Ghalib Awards 2022: Prof Ibne honoured for his contributions Urdu literature

    Professor Ibne Kanwal, a critic, researcher, non- fiction and fiction writer, has been selected by Ghalib Institute for its “Ghalib award” 2022.

    The award will be presented to Prof. Ibne Kanwal at an annual international seminar to be held on 16 December 2022. Prof. Kanwal is the author of many books in Urdu including short stories collection, sketches, essays and play collections.

    He is also an author and compiler of several critic books. He has been awarded with several States, national and international awards for his contribution to literature. His short stories have been translated in Arabic and Russian languages.

    Prof. Ibne Kanwal recently got retired from University of Delhi as Senior Professor.
