    Jamia alumnus spreads health awareness in hometown

    A delegation of Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi) alumni visited the Diabetes and Blood Pressure Screening Center at Mahdi Villa, Nehtaur Dist. Bijnor, UP on Wednesday.  The delegation included Engr Rizwan Ali, Wazir Haider Zaidi, Qazi Nasir Sultan, Fareed Ahmed, Masoodul Hasan Rizvi, according to Shyam Sunder Aggarwal, Vice President of Health and Education Promotion Trust (HEPT).

    Ghizal Mahdi, secretary HEPT briefed the delegation about the Center’s functioning and its objectives aimed at spreading health awareness and improving the health conditions of our population.

    The delegation appreciated the HEPT’s  initiative and encouraged the organizers and health volunteers “to take up the challenge of improving health condition of the citizens”.

    Present on the occasion were Mujahid Siddiqui, Itaat Husain, Saadi Zaidi, Manzoor Zaidi, Naushad Ahmed. The Center is established by HEPT under its Health Awareness Campaign (Swasth Nehtaur).

    It is open on Sundays and it offers free of cost testing and counseling services to the visitors, patients and their caregivers.
