    Jamia closes university gymnasium, indoor activities at sports complex

    Jamia Millia Islamia Vice Chancellor Professor Najma Akhtar has asked all students and employees of the university to strictly follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour in view of the surge in Covid-19 and its new variant Omicron cases in the national Capital.

    An office order in this regard has been issued by the Registrar, Jamia yesterday.

    People visiting the university have been directed to greet without physical contact, maintain physical distance and follow Covid protocol. They were asked to follow these guidelines at all times and all places on the school and university campus.

    On the recommendation of the Honorary Director Games & Sports, Jamia and as per the directives received from the Government of NCT of Delhi, the Vice Chancellor has also directed to close down the Gymnasium/Indoor Activities at the Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Sports Complex of university till further orders.
