Fake or real? ‘Ariba has donated 300 gaz land from her Kalindi Kunj residence for garbage house’

A post has been doing the rounds that newly elected Congress Councillor Ariba Khan has donated 300 gaz land from her Kalindi Kunj residence for garbage dumping to end waste pile-up nearby Al-Shifa Hospital and Shaheen Bagh. AAP member Saud Khan wrote this on his timeline some seven hours ago in Hindi: “Breaking news: Ariba Khan gave 300 gaz land for garbage dump from her Kalindi Kunj farm house. Now, the garbage dumped at Shaheen Bagh and Al-Shifa Hospital will be cleaned,” he wrote.

In the last seven hours, the post has solicited 32 comments with one netizen pointing out that it is a fake news.

Saud has put fake information on the social media for reasons best known to him. When contacted, he told the OT that leader should come forward to donate land so that garbage dump in the open comes to an end. It is important to point out that residents voted sitting AAP Councillor Wajid Khan out of power for not finding a permanent solution to the garbage mess in Abul Fazal Enclave and Shaheen Bagh.

Actually, in an exclusive interview to the OT on Saturday, Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan urged Ariba and his father Asif Md Khan to gift 300 gaz land from their house in Kalindi Kunj for garbage dump to end garbage pile-up on roadsides at Shaheen Bagh and Al-Shifa Hospital.

The MLA had replied to a question that residents are very upset from the dumping of the garbage on the roadside in the open. It was MLA’s first interview after his party, the AAP, was defeated in the MCD election 2022 in Okhla’s five wards. The AAP won just one seat in Okhla’s five wards. In Delhi the AAP came into power removing the BJP from power in the MCD in the recently held election.
