“I am delighted to share with you all that my daughter Fuzaila has scored 96.4 per cent in the CBSE Class XII examinations. Remember her in your prayers,” he wrote. Since then his post has literally gone viral on the social media getting tones of congratulation from across the country.

Khan told OT over phone that the family is happy that the daughter has come out with flying colours.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the results with girls once again outshining the boys.

“The CBSE will conduct an optional examination in the subjects, whose examinations were scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 15,  as soon as conditions are conducive as assessed and decided by the Central Government.

“Candidates whose results have been declared on the basis of the assessment scheme will be allowed to appear in these optional examinations to improve their performance if they wish so. Marks obtained by a candidate in these optional examinations will be treated as final for those who opt to take these examinations,” the Board said.
