    Watch: Fire broke out at the electric motor parking at Tikona Park

    Fire broke out at the electric motor parking at Tikona Park in Jamia Nagar on Wednesday early morning, according to residents. No loss of life was reported from the spot till the filing of the report. However, vehicles were damaged and parked e-rickshaws gutted leading to huge loss to the owners.

    Fire was doused as fire brigade reached the spot.

    Syed Izhar head of ETO Okhla parking where the fire broke out a few hours ago told the OT that the incident occurred at 4.30 am and no loss of life has been reported yet.

    E-rickshaws parked there have been gutted, he said, adding that the ETO team is to arrive on the spot to assess the damage done to the parking. He said the reason behind the fire is being ascertained.

    Videos doing the rounds showed how vehicles parked there were damaged. Probe has begun. Many residents who were going to their offices saw the fire and some can been seen in the video rushing to the spot and seeing things unfold in disbelief. The smoke coming out from the fire was huge and could be seen from far places.

    Residents said it was fortunate that no loss of life was reported and the fire was doused on time.
