    Shocked father pleads for justice

According to hospital staff, the young person was brought dead, and the body has been dispatched for a postmortem examination.

Police officials promptly arrived at the hospital in response to the incident, said a source. A probe has begun.

The exact cause of death, however, is expected to be determined only upon the release of the postmortem report.

Khan told a citizen journalist that that his son was fatally assaulted on suspicion of theft in Jaitpur, in Ghadda Colony area, which is in close proximity to Kalindi Kunj.

Khan disclosed that his son was one of four siblings and was 16 years old.

He said an individual familiar with the family shared with him that his son was found in an open field in the morning and he immediately took him to Al Shifa Hospital.

Khan said his son had dropped out of school and had previously been admitted for de-addiction treatment.

It was also reported by sources that Khan makes a living by operating a rented auto.

Residents in the area are reeling from the recent incident, expressing their shock and sorrow.

This tragedy is not isolated, as they recall previous instances of bodies being discovered in their locality.

They are particularly concerned about the growing problem of drug addiction among young people in the area, which they view as a rising menace.

Several months ago, local social activists organised a march and various programmes to draw attention to this issue in an effort to find a solution.
