However, the buzz on is that the boy was in third semester in MIB. It was on Saturday when this portal had reported about the incident based on comments from Gafoor Nagar residents where the boy was residing in a rented accommodation.

The portal has asked for more details from the university like when he did study on the campus and other information. Once it is received the story will be updated. People who knew him said the boy was intelligent.

Police said Ebaduddin, 25, a native of Sultanganj in Patna, allegedly hanged himself from the ceiling of his flat, adding his family has been informed. The incident came to light on Saturday when neighbours called the police.

No suicide note has been found and the reason behind his death is being ascertained, they said.

“We have recorded statements of the relatives and no foul play has been found or suspected. The body has been kept at AIIMS mortuary. He was studying at Jamia and lived alone at Gafoor Nagar,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo said.
