The good thing in this case was that the driver was not hurt as there were a few vehicles on the road due to Holi and holiday, said residents.

Another e-rickshaw driver said one has to be very careful while driving on this road due to potholes in the beginning of AFE. He said a few days ago he was told by some that how an e-rickshaw had turned turtle as the car ahead of him turned without giving indication. A few passengers sitting on it sustained minor injuries, he said.

In most of the cases, passengers get away with minor injuries due to slow speed of the vehicle, said another resident, adding that still one needs to be careful while travelling on Jamia Nagar roads as most of them are in bad state. Also, residents pointed out that due to black spots also at times e-rickshaw drivers fail to see ahead properly, leading to mishap.
