    50 SDMC staffers vaccinated, Mayor inaugurates Covid-19 vaccination centre

    50 SDMC staffers vaccinated, Mayor inaugurates Covid-19 vaccination centre

    SDMC Mayor Anamika today inaugurated a Covid-19 vaccination centre in West Zone’s Tilak Nagar.

    On the first day, a total of 50 corporation staff were vaccinated. Mayor appealed to other FLWs to get Covid-19 vaccine from the centre as the process of vaccination is completely safe.

    Mayor said the target is to ensure vaccination of senior SDMC officials, Health Care Staff and other employees before February 28.

    Vaccination facility for SDMC FLWs is available at Kalkakji Hospital, Lajpat Nagar Hospital and Tilak Nagar Hospital and the vaccination will soon be started at dispensaries and health centres  coming under the Civic Agency. On the occasion, Chairperson of West Zone Col. B K Oberoi, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sonal Swaroop, Chairman of Health Committee Shyam Mishra and senior officials from the Health Department were present.

    She said Front Line Workers (FLW) from SDMC will avail the facility from this centre.

    All required facilities to run a vaccination centre including oxygen cylinder, medicines, etc have been made available at this centre.
