He said he was 42 years old and his wife is employed in Jamia.

Saika Ikram is Joint Secretary of the JTA which now has been scrapped. She is Associate Professor at Jamia’s Chemistry department, said another university Professor who was present in the graveyard. He said he came to know that Chaudhary also studied at Jamia.

Chaudary was a realtor and used to work in Metro. He also suffered from severe Covid a few years ago, said another Professor.

“He was found at Haus Khas after suffering heart attack and police took him to AIIMS. The whole night family had no idea where he was. It was in the morning when a call came from AIIMS informing family members about his death. Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Jamia Mosque. Large number of residents turned up,” said Professor, adding that this is what he heard people talking.

The exact sequence is still not known and will be updated after talking with close family relatives.
