Earlier, Nitu was in the Congress and then she joined the BJP. It would be interesting to see how the BJP performs in Muslim-dominated Okhla where a few days ago it had launched a door-to-door campaign to win hearts and minds of the residents.

The list of candidates for MCD election 2022 was announced today. It is the first list in which 232 candidates were announced for the local elections which are scheduled for December 4.

The MCD was ruled by the BJP for three terms. This time the AAP is doing all it could to topped the BJP with the party announcing garbage free city for the Delhiites.

Filing of nominations began on November 7, and the last date for the same is November 14. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on November 16, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 19.

After the BJP and AAP announcing their list of candidates, now all eyes are on the Congress.
