A resident, Shiraz, said a small portion of wall of a building collapsed on the moving car. The driver was lucky as he escaped with minor injuries, he said.

Also, he shared video of the incident on his timeline.
He said the driver or the man inside the car was lucky as nothing major happened as the bricks fall on the ground from one high-rise building. Residents rushed to the spot to rescue the man inside the vehicle.

The thunderstorm uprooted trees and walls in a few more places in Okhla. A resident Wajid said the wall of Zakir Hussain mausoleum in Jamia Millia Islamia also collapsed with the Gafoor Nagar road being blocked for a few minutes and traffic being diverted.

A very old peepal tree in Jamia also was uprooted. The rain and thunderstorm lead to traffic snarls and waterlogging at several places in the locality with residents complaining of getting stuck in gridlock while returning to their homes from office.
