    A balcony of a housed caved in Azim Dairy in Batla House around 4 pm on Tuesday, according to residents, who had gathered there for help.

    A girl was injured, said a neighbour with some residents claiming that a few more were hurt. Till the filing of the report it was confirmed that in total three were hurt as the balcony caved in. All were rushed to hospital, said a resident.

    Sagheer Ahmed said local administration, fire brigade and others rushed to the spot for rescue operation. He said a four-year-old girl was rescued from the debris and rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

    The girl is still in the ICU, he said, adding that other two people were discharged after first aid.

    A resident said a girl who was standing under the balcony is serious and they are praying for her recovery.
