Professor Shamshad Ali Khan passed away on Thursday night after prolonged illness, according to a family member. He was 83 years old. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held today at 01:30 pm at Markaz Jamaat e Islami Hind, Abul Fazal Enclave after Friday prayer and tadfeen at 1:45 pm at Shaheen Bagh Qabristan, said a family friend. Delhi Jal Board to set up its sludge treatment plant A sludge treatment plant is being constructed by the Delhi government at its Kondli based Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with a capacity to treat 200 tonnes of sludge per day, said the government in a statement. The new sludge treatment plant will be established within the premises of the existing Kondli facility.
