    Mushir Fatma Nursery School celebrates Annual Function 2023

    New Delhi, March 3: Mushir Fatma Nursery School, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) celebrated its annual function known as ‘Bacchon Ka Mela’ on 28th February 2023 in the school premises with zest, zeal and enthusiasm.

    The theme of the mela was “India- its roots and its traditions”. The school was decorated with beautiful craft items made by students and teachers under the guidance of the Headmistress, Mrs. Rukhsana Parveen which were displayed aesthetically in every nook and corner of the premise.

    Prof. Sara Begum, Dean, Faculty of Education was the Chief Guest while Prof. Naheed Zahoor, HOD, Teacher’s Training and Non-Formal Education( IASE) and Prof. Archana Dassi, Department of Social Work and Prof. In charge, Centre for Early Childhood Development and Research were the Guests of Honor.

    The tiny tots showcased a number of cultural events which included a welcome group dance, fancy dress- representing the states of India, group dance to pay tribute to the farmers of India and a dance showcasing an Indian Fair.

    The colourful and vibrant performances of the little ones were outstanding. An exhibition was also put up where craft items, made from waste by the children with the help of their parents were displayed. The Guests were in awe of the creativity of the young minds.

    Food stalls were put up by the parents of the school which served a variety of delicacies like Biryani, kheer, cupcakes, momos, juices, ice- cream etc.
