    Proud moment for Jamia! Alumnus Adnan played key role in Chandrayaan- 3 mission: University

    Jamia Millia Islamia alumnus Mohammad Adnan, who has been working with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) since 2008, played a key role in the historical Mission Chandrayaan- 3 of the space agency, said the university.

    Adnan is currently working as Scientist ‘F’ at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC).

    Adnan is associated with ISRO for the last 15 years and was also a part of the team of Chandrayaan-2 and Mission Mars (MOM), said the university.

    Belonging to Darbhanga, Bihar, Adnan completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in 2007 and Diploma in Computer Science Engineering in 2003 from Jamia.

    Elated over the development, Jamia Vice Chancellor Professor Najma Akhtar said: “I am happy to know that our students are doing so well in this field. This has added to our joy. I congratulate Adnan for the important role he has played in the mission. This will definitely motivate our students to work hard to contribute in nation building.”

    It is worth mentioning that three more alumni of the university namely Amit Kumar Bhardwaj, Mohd. Kashif and Areeb Ahmad were also part of the historical Chandrayaan-3 of the ISRO.
