    Jamia loses another stalwart in Abdul Moid

    Jamia loses another stalwart in Khan

    Abdul Moid Khan, ex-president Jamia Teachers’ Association (JTA), and former HOD, Electronics, University Polytechnic, Jamia Millia Islami, is no more, according to a reliable university source.

    Khan, 80, was laid to rest in his village Bulandshahr, today, said the source.

    He retired in 1999 as Head of Electronics Engineering section from University Polytechnic, Jamia and during his stay on the campus he was also president of JTA from 1992 to 1994.

    Born in Bugrasi (Bulandshahr) UP, he was a loving and caring teacher to students as well as to his colleagues.

    He has left behind one son and two daughters, all married.
