“Aarfa presented a poster of her standing in front of bulldozer in plastered leg in Shaheen Bagh to Rahul and got his signature on the huge photo. Rahul told her that he read about her story in newspapers and she is strong lady,” said Muzakkir.

He said Aarfa also spoke about the women empowerment which was appreciated by Rahul. During the yatra, many people are meeting with him. The OT couldn’t verify the claim made by Muzakkir.

The photo of Aarfa offering her poster to Rahul and getting his signature has been shared by Indian National Congress official page.

Rahul is coming to Badarpur on December 24 and preparation of which has already started. A meeting regarding preparations was held at DPCC today with senior Congress leaders, including Delhi State president Anil Chaudhary, addressing the media.

By 2023, Bharat Jodo Yatra is expected to cover a distance of 3,570 kilometer. It is the longest march on foot by any Indian politician in the history of India, the Congress had claimed earlier.

Before entering Delhi in a few days time, the yatra will have covered parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
