    AAJMI distributes scholarships to 110 Jamia students

    AAJMI distributes scholarships to 110 Jamia students

    The AAJMI Scholarship 2023, an event aimed at honouring exceptional academic achievements, was successfully held on December 13.

    Scholarship was distributed to 110 Jamia Millia Islamia students at scholarship distribution programme in CIT Jamia in presence of several university staffers, alumni and guests.

    Dr Farooqi Syed of (Himalayan drugs), Professor Iqtedaar, Professor Wasim, Professor Moshahid Rizwi, former Pro Vice Chancellor Ilyas, social activist Indu Prakash Singh, Babban, Porfessor Haider, alumni Munir, Ershad, Aamir, Maaz Faruqi and others were present at the event.

    A cheque of Rs 5,000 was given to financially weaker students so that they could carry with their education.

    This is not one off incident as for years AAJMI, an elected body of Jamia alumni, has been distributing scholarship on regularly basis to deserving and financially weaker students, said one alumnus.

    The AAJMI Scholarship 2023 is an initiative by the AAJMI Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education and empowering deserving students.

    This scholarship programme aims to recognise and reward outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities, and a commitment to making a positive impact on society.

    The event commenced with a recitation of Holy Quran and a warm welcome to all the esteemed guests and participants.
