Personality Tests (interviews) of shortlisted candidates will commence from April 5.

The university’s residential coaching academy has been praised in the past for producing maximum civil servants amongst all the public coaching centres run by various institutions.

Since, 2010-11 till 2019 the RCA produced 230 Civil Servants, including many in IAS, IFS and IPS.

Besides, more than 285 aspirants coached by RCA have also been selected in various other central and state services i.e., CAPF, IB, RBI (Grade B), APF, Bank PO and PCS etc, said the university years ago.

In 2019, the university said students of RCA joined J&K PCS, 24 students qualified for UPPSC interview, and 15 students qualified for interview in BPSC then.

RCA was established in 2010 by the UGC under the aegis of Centre for Coaching and Career Planning (CC&CP), Jamia to provide free coaching, and residential facilities to the students of SC, ST, women, and minorities for civil services and other competitive examinations.

Students are selected for comprehensive coaching on the basis of an all India written test followed by individual interviews.
