When told that the price is very high, the goat owner who is from Rajasthan said he has seen on YouTube people asking Rs 2.5 crore for a goat on which Allah was written. Every year goat traders come to Okhla to sell animals on Eid-al-Adha. This year too the festival of sacrifice is being held on June 29.

A few residents, who turned up at the newly-located Okhla Bakra Mandi under the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway in Zakir Nagar a few metres from Dhobi Ghat Bakra Mandi, were left speechless after coming to know about the high price of the goat. Some residents were seen arguing with the owners of the goat trying to convince him that the price is high.

After the OT parked the video on its YouTube channel many residents commented on it with some expressing surprise at the high price.

This year the prices of goats are a little high compared to previous year, said a resident, adding that the arrival of more goats from Mewat and other neighbouring States might bring down the prices of goats making it easy for the middle class residents to buy animals.
