Jamia Millia Islamia’s University Placement Cell said it is proud to announce the onset of placements for Jamia batch 2026, with students securing prestigious offers from leading multinational corporations.
“It started with one student from B.Tech-Computer Engineering receiving a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Optum with an impressive package of 18 LPA for the role of Software Development Engineer.
“Adding to the achievements, four students from B.Tech-Computer Engineering have been selected by IDFC First Bank for the role of Application Engineer, with each securing a package of 16 LPA.
“From B.Tech – Electronics & Communication, one student has earned a PPO from Accenture with a package of 11.89 LPA,” said the university.
Three students from B.Tech and M.Tech – Electrical Engineering have been selected by Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL). The B.Tech graduates were offered the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) with a package of 6 LPA, while the M.Tech graduate was selected as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) with a package of 9 LPA.
These achievements are a testimony to the hard work of the students, the guidance of the faculty, and the continuous efforts of the University Placement Cell in building strong industry-academia linkages, it said.

Earlier in April 30, Jamia Millia Islamia‘s Diploma in Electrical Engineering students secure impressive international placement offers. The selected students were offered a competitive salary package of Rs 12 lakh per annum for positions in the Middle East location.
