    Watch: Delhi Police uses drone for patrolling in Jamia Nagar, Jasola

    The Delhi Police is using drone cameras for patrolling Jamia Nagar and Jasola to ensure law and order in the areas, reported news agency ANI.

    Following clashes in Jahangirpuri on Saturday security was beefed up in Jamia Nagar on the night with police taking up patrolling in the locality to make sure that law and order in maintained in the area. It was at night when SHOs and senior police officers turned up in the locality and moved around. A large number of security men were also deployed at Jamia Millia Islamia’s Gate number 7. After the surfacing of the photos and videos on the social media, many residents had expressed concern fearing that something has happened in Okhla.

    On Sunday too security was beefed up at Batla House where residents said they saw policemen manning the entrance of the busy market place at night. During Ramzan Batla House market is a very busy place as residents turn up for marketing. With Ramzan being celebrated without any Covid restrictions after two years the market place is buzzing with activities.

    The move has been welcomed by residents who said it is good to see that patrolling has been increased in the area.
