    Okhla-based hospital director, police officer take Covid jab, share experience

    After India launched Covid-19 vaccination, many have been vaccinated. In Okhla too residents are taking jabs. Ghaffar Manzil-based cop Suhaib Ahmad Farooqui said he got vaccinated today. After which he shared this information on his timeline getting many comments.

    He told the OT that he is feeling fine after taking the vaccination. It is important to point out that Farooqui was down with Covid months ago.

    Besides him, Royale Kalindi Hospital director Mubashir Hasan also took vaccination. He told the OT that it was two day ago when he took the Covid jab. He said final round to be taken on 28 th day. He said everybody should take the jab to stay safe as the cases have again started rising in some States.

    Covid vaccination is going in India and the country took 34 days to surpass the one-crore vaccination mark, making it the second fastest globally. The United States took 31 days, while the United Kingdom took 56 days to surpass the one-crore vaccination mark, according to media reports.

    “A total of 1,01,88,007 vaccine doses have been administered through 2,11,462 sessions, as per the provisional report till 8 am. These include 62,60,242 healthcare workers (1st dose), 6,10,899 healthcare workers (2nd dose) and 33,16,866 frontline workers (1st dose),” the Ministry said days ago.

    The NDTV reported today that as Covid cases rise, the Centre has rushed teams to nine states and warned them against laxity.

    The Health Secretary has also written to seven states and Union Territories on the surge in virus cases and has advised specific measures, it reported.
