    The Prophet’s life luminous example of noble character: Hasan

    The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is a beacon of peace for humanity and is an unparalleled example of a noble and truthful character, said Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) at the Milad un Nabi (Prophet’s Birth Anniversary Celebrations) programme organised by the Office of the Dean, Students Welfare (SW) yesterday evening in the University.

    In his presidential address, Professor Hasan praising the Prophet covered various aspects of his life. Following the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and his teachings will benefit self and society, he added.

    Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Prof. Naseemuddin Farees, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui and Dr. Syed Mahmood Kazmi, Dr. Viquar Unnisa, Dr. Pathan Md. Wasim, presented hymns (naat) in praise of the Prophet.

    Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf, Dean Students Welfare and Prof. Syed Haseebuddin Quadri, Director, IQAC also addressed the gathering.

    Prof. Sk. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Shugufta Shaheen, Officer on Special Duty, and Dr. Zair Hussain, Controller of exams, were also present on the occasion.

    Assistant Deans – Dr. KM Ziyauddin, welcomed the gathering and Dr. Jarrar Ahamadcompered the proceedings whereas Ismat Fathima proposed vote of thanks. The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Quran by Dr. Abdul Aleem.
