As you all know all the university is closed and I tried to capture the emptiness through my lens, he tells the OT.

“On March 22, the government declared complete lockdown in India. Since then each and every schools and colleges are closed. This is the first time something like this happened.

“Before corona there was a time when the students were spending time with their friends, celebrating birthdays, cracking jokes, etc. in the canteen or sometimes even in the classroom. But since the schools and colleges are closed everyone is missing those old days.

“Recently I went to Jamia and documented how the university looked like without the students. Those places which were once crowded by students are now completely deserted.

“The lawns of Gulistan-e-Ghalib, outside the Zakir Hussain Library, engineering canteen, Castro Cafe, MCRC, Ansari Auditorium, Amphitheatre, and the schools are completely vacant. I Hope this pandemic will end soon so we all go back to our favourite places,” writes Javed.
