    Speed up online admission process, schools under central zone told

    Speed up online admission process, schools under central zone told

    Chairperson of the Central Zone Poonam Bhati directed the principals to speed up the process of online admission in all the schools. She said the online admission process has been started in all schools under the Central zone. Banners and posters are placed at the main gates of all schools to give more information about online admission to parents.

    A virtual meeting was held under the chairmanship of Smt. Poonam Bhati in which Deputy Commissioner, Director Education, School Inspector,144 Principals and other high officials discussed about the online education system. Chairperson and Deputy Commissioner also applauded the efforts of teachers during this corona pandemic.

    In the meeting, Poonam Bhati instructed all the Principals and teachers to attend the school regularly for online admission of students. We have asked the Principal and teachers to encourage parents for online admission of their children and explain to them about the importance of education.

    Chairperson said that in order to ensure continuance of study of the students during this corona crises, we are ready to assist the parents in every possible way. She said that every effort will be done by the Education Department for online admissions as well as the online classes of the students. Bhati directed all the concerned teachers to keep in touch with their students over phone and keep them motivated for online education.

    In the meeting Bhati also discussed other important issues like smart classrooms, water harvesting in schools, fire safety, maintenance of parks etc.
