    Admissions in distance programmes of MANUU, all you need to know

    Admissions in distance programmes of MANUU, all you need to know

    Admissions are open for distance mode courses of Maulana Azad National Urdu University for 2021-22 January session. The admissions are available for MA Urdu, BCom., Diploma in Teach English, Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication, Certificate in Proficiency in Urdu through English and Certificate in Functional English.

    According to Prof. Mohd. Razaullah Khan, Director I/c, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) the last date for submission of online application form and fee payment is March 31, 2022. The e-prospectus, online application forms, and fee details are available at manuu.edu.in/dde (Admission Portal manuuadmission.samarth.edu.in).

    For further details Student Support Unit (SSU) Helpline can be contacted on Nos. 040-23008463 or 23120600 (Extn. 2207), 7793944799, 6005303261, 9891717026 or visit university website. The candidates can also contact MANUU Regional Centres/Sub-Regional Centres across the country.

    Besides, the Directorate of Translation and Publications (DTP), Maulana Azad National Urdu University organised a nine-day Translation Workshop in History from March 14 to 17 and March 21 to 25, 2022.

    Prof. Syed Ainul Hassan, Vice Chancellor while expressing best wishes hoped that this method of translation would prove to be useful and effective and this experiment may also be applied for the future assignments.

    During the workshop, nine experts have translated various units of MA (History) courses run by the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE).

    The Director DTP, Prof. Mohd Khalid Mubashir-uz-Zafar said directorate would be organizing more workshops in future and translation of textbooks and knowledge books would continue. Prof. Razaullah Khan, Director, DDE expressed his satisfaction over the ongoing work.

    Prof. Syed Mahmood Kazmi, Head, Dept. of Translation, Prof. Syed Aleem Ashraf, Head, Dept. of Arabic Department, Prof. Shamsul Huda, Dr. Abu Shaheem Khan, Dr. Fahimuddin Ahmed, Dr. Mehboob Basha also gave their valuable input.

    The experts also gave their valuable advice to the translators participating in the workshop.

    Dr. Aslam Parwez, Convener Workshop, expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants as well as the members of the DTP, DDE and the University for their support in making the workshop successful.
