“I got a call at 4:30 am from my friend that somebody was putting playboy posters of male escort in the locality. I got up and I went to Zakir Nagar and spotted the posters, but couldn’t find the people who were putting them. This is an effort to destroy Muslim youths,” said Tihami.

“These posters were put in the locality earlier also. That time I had got the information but we ignored it. It has happened again and this is a move to trap unemployed youths. Actually it is a fraud as I was told that when somebody calls on the number he is asked to deposit money and then nothing happens. Youth should be careful against such fraud. I am in a police station to file complaint against it,” he said.

To get to the depth of the story, the OT called on the given number on the poster. A person picked up the phone and said: “Playboy, escort service….you sent Hi on WhatsApp and we will sent you all details.”

A senior journalist told the OT over phone that in most such cases it is a fraud to fleece youths. Chances are high that once you pay the initial amount, you lose the money. It is for the youths of the locality to be careful and stay away from such frauds, he said.
